Service Description

Mexico Canine Behaviour & Rescue Intensive: A One-Week Immersive Experience Take your dog training education beyond the classroom with an intensive, hands-on canine behaviour and rescue experience in Mexico with Hustle Up Dog Trainer Academy. This unique, week-long intensive course offers aspiring dog owners, dog trainers, experienced handlers, and canine behaviour enthusiasts the opportunity to learn from an experienced dog behaviourist while observing dogs living in very different environments. Discover the fascinating differences between feral dogs, feral-domesticated dogs, and domesticated dogs, and develop a deeper understanding of how environment, survival instincts, social structures, daily habits, and human interaction influence canine behaviour. Throughout this immersive experience, you’ll observe dogs in their natural or everyday environments, learning to recognize body language, communication signals, social dynamics, behavioural patterns, and survival strategies. Explore how dogs adapt to life with limited human contact compared with dogs living alongside people, and gain valuable insights that can expand your understanding of canine behaviour and welfare. But this experience goes beyond observation. Participants will have the opportunity to take part in responsible rescue efforts, assisting with the capture and transport of stray or free-roaming dogs for veterinary assessment and spay procedures, under appropriate professional supervision. These efforts support animal welfare and help reduce uncontrolled breeding, contributing to more sustainable canine population management. This is an opportunity to experience the realities of canine welfare on the ground, understand the challenges facing free-roaming dog populations, and see how education, responsible intervention, and veterinary care can make a meaningful difference. Whether you’re pursuing a career as a dog trainer, expanding your knowledge of canine behaviour, or passionate about animal rescue, and dog ownership this Mexico dog behaviour and rescue intensive offers an unforgettable opportunity to learn through real-world observation and participation. Learn from dogs. Understand their world. Make a difference.
